Can your appointment request be dealt with online? Please click the link below.
We offer ten minute GP telephone appointments which can be made by telephoning reception on 01993 700505. Your GP can then assess, and agree with you what is needed and arrange a further consultation, a video call, a face to face appointment or further investigations. If you have more than one problem to discuss please inform reception so they can book a double appointment if needed.
You may be contacted by text if this is an issue that can be dealt with without a telephone call after your request has been triaged by a doctor or other clinician.
We ask patients to book an appointment to see their "Usual GP" as this helps with continuity of care and can reduce the number of follow up appointments needed.
If you are offered a face to face appointment please bring a face covering with you to the surgery

Requests for medically urgent appointments
- If you require an urgent or same day appointment please ring before 10am if possible.
- If you ring after all the same day appointments have been booked and your issue is medically urgent you will be placed on the duty doctor's list for a phone call or text the same afternoon. You must be available to come down the same day for examination if required. If the duty doctor or duty paramedic feels your issue is not medically urgent your appointment may be rebooked for a later date
- You will be asked brief details about your problem by reception in order to decide how quickly you should be contacted
You may be signposted to more appropriate services such as clinical pharmacists, local pharmacies or local services for your particular problem

Mental Health Emergencies
There is a 24/7 mental health emergency helpline available here if you need help with a mental health problem
Please ring as early as possible if you require a home visit. Please note we cannot offer you this service if you are well enough to attend the surgery or are able to leave the house for other appointments. You will be contacted either by a GP, paramedic or our visiting service.
You can be visited at home by a Community (District) Nurse if you self refer or are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a Health Visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
