Our practice nursing team comprises of a Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurse, Healthcare Assistant and Phlebotomist.  They all work closely with all members of the healthcare team, especially the GPs, and their work is guided by appropriate protocols.

Ms Gill Long (f)

Gill Long BA (Hons) RGN is an experienced nurse with advanced education and clinical training, including prescribing  She can support and manage patients with chronic conditions, such as asthma, COPD and coronary heart disease, as well as offer a range of practice nursing services.  As a trained family planning nurse, Gill can offer contraceptive advice and prescribe all methods of contraception. She provides support for our patients with a learning disability including health checks and advice on health matters


Mrs Debbie Pegram (f)

Debbie Pegram RGN provides a range of nursing care including dressings, cervical smears, travel and childhood immunisations, health checks, blood tests, dietary advice and ear syringing.  She has experience in dermatology, skin care and wound healing.  Debbie has trained in the care of patients with diabetes and manages them in conjunction with our GPs.

Ellie is our Paramedic Practitioner and will work off our daily emergency list triaging, assessing and advising patients.

Mrs Paula Bolley (f)

Paula is an experienced Healthcare Assistant who has been trained in taking blood, performing ECGs, routine blood pressure recordings, spirometry, removing sutures and providing minor dressings. She also does our NHS Health Checks and diabetic foot checks. She assists the GPs in minor operations and coil fittings.
